Adult ballet classes (non-sylabus) take place as follows:
General Level (Beginners very welcome) Tuesdays 6.45 -7.45pm at Chalk Farm Baptist Church, Berkley Road NW1 8YR
This class caters for adults who may be returning to ballet after a long break. Adults who have not done ballet before are also most welcome and are fully integrated into the class. Some students start in this class and then progress onto the Intermediate level class on Thursdays.
Intermediate Level Thursdays 7.30 – 9.00pm at Chalk Farm Baptist Church, Berkley Road NW1 8YR
This class is for those who have studied ballet to Grade 5 level and above or those who have graduated from the Tuesday General level class. It also meets the need for those dancers who are not of the required age or ready for the very popular Silver Swans programme.
Summer School
A Summer School generally takes place either the last week of July or the first week of August Mon – Thursday (4 evenings) 7.00 – 9.00pm
During this week there is the chance to work on more challenging choreography as well as learning some repertoire from a ballet.
Fees:
After paying for and attending an initial lesson, an invoice would then be issued for the remainder of the term.
There is also a system in place whereby students can pay for 6 lessons. These lessons must be used during the course of the whole term. If there are classes outstanding towards the end of term these are then paid for at that time. This gives a bit of flexibility which may be required due to other commitments e.g. work and holiday arrangements. I regret that there is no refund for classes not attended in order to cover hall hire costs etc.
Tuesday Classes: £12-00 per class (1 hour) Thursday Classes: £15-00 per class 1 1/2 hrs
